Love love love this place! From the team behind Nodaya comes Groovy Night. Great for izakaya style snacks like their Taco and Curry-Pan with a beer or level things up with some Toothfish and Wagyu with a whisky, sake, or shochu… or all of the above. Amazing intimate izakaya style bar and restaurant. The team have a keen eye for attention to detail and ensure you have a great experience! Food was tasty and they have a wide selection of drinks. The ramen is a must try!

Had the Wagyu for dinner and Mandarin for dessert along with a few happy hour drinks. The Wagyu was fantastic - cooked with love and care. Service is great! Most difficult part is finding how to get in! But persist - it is worth it!

An intimate and hip Japanese restaurant and bar by the team from Nodaya in Pyrmont. Similar to the previous establishment, this venue has one of the largest range of Japanese whisky in Sydney. The design is designed for small groups and there's a range of food options to choose from. I recommend the Amzu Tomato, Aburi Scallops, Fish and Chips and the Mandarin. It was all nicely balanced. The drinks menu is also quite extensive and is great for those who enjoy whisky. The venue is perfect for date nights, drinks, or a large group. The environment is clean and the staff were friendly and the food came out in a nice pace. Highly recommend and will come back again. 👍😋
