We had the most wonderful experience dining at Flynn’s Italian last night! Partly because the food was delicious, but mostly because of the 10/10 service we received from Antonio and Yann who took care of us! My late afternoon flight to Cairns was very delayed, so we had to push our reservation back to arrive much later. Although the reservation change was very last-minute and it was almost 8:30pm on Christmas Eve when we arrived, we received a very warm welcome, and Antonio and Yann both delivered friendly, fast, and professional service that made my Mum and I feel very taken care of. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and packed with bold, authentic Italian flavors. The manager Yan and Chef Marcio made a special veggie dish for me - so tasty and spicy!! ✨ Highly recommend — and definitely worth planning ahead for.

I recently had a night here with my sister and from start to finish I must say it was most enjoyable. The manager/hosts greeting was warm and welcoming and our waiter was very attentive straightaway. We sat in the corner with full view of the Cairns Eye which was great! The carpaccio, Buratina and ravioli entrees were absolutely outstanding, the balance of flavours, textures and presentation was flawless. Our waiter allowed us to enjoy some food before checking on us which is always a good thing! The steak and Sicilian pasta that were ordered were also lovely but I don’t think anything could have beaten the entrees as they were so impressive.

We went for dinner tonight to celebrate my husbands birthday. I am so glad we did! The food and service were beyond amazing!!!!! The wine pairing was excellent. We had such a good time, the staff were phenomenal and we would absolutely come back any time we visit Cairns. It was well worth every penny.

Our Flynn’s dinner this evening was fabulous! It is the most amazing Italian food we have ever eaten. Dikxie, the chef, is brilliant. Very impressed. Our server, Antonio, was so professional, warm and welcoming, knowledgeable about the food and personable. Fantastic experience. We will definitely be back.
