Exhibition Restaurant delivers a truly elevated dining experience with it's modern and fusion take on Japanese kaiseki, thoughtfully balancing individual plated courses with communal-style dining. Theyโ€™ve taken inspiration from Japanese kaieiki cuisine to another level, blending simplicity with refined culinary techniques and fresh Australian produce in a way that feels both innovative and interesting. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and intimate, complemented by top-notch service from start to finish. Every member of the team knew the dishes inside out and took the time to explain each component clearly and confidently, which greatly enhanced the overall experience. The tasting menu consisted of up to 12 courses, with the first 3โ€“4 courses featuring an impressive selection of snacks, and up to three different bites per course. Every snack was beautifully executed, but the tarts and pie tee shell bites stood out as personal favourites. Each dish was immaculate, and every bite felt intentional and exciting. I especially appreciated the wide variety of seafood, fish, grains, and vegetables used throughout the menu. It created a pleasant symphony of textures and flavours that kept the meal engaging from beginning to end. The main courses were equally outstanding. Both the fish and beef were cooked perfectly, with sauces and accompaniments that paired seamlessly with the proteins. A special mention goes to the bread, definitely not to be skipped. Dessert wrapped up the meal on a high note with two plated desserts that were well-balanced and satisfying. While the petit fours and fruits werenโ€™t quite to our taste and felt a little unusual, this may simply come down to personal preference. Overall, Exhibition Restaurant offers an excellent dining experience. The quality of ingredients, precision in execution, technical skill, and consistently high standards more than justify the price. I would absolutely love to return again.

Exhibition truly delivers finedining experience. The food was absolutely incredible presented, full of flavour, and crafted with real creativity. Every dish felt like a work of art. The drinks were just as impressive, perfectly paired and thoughtfully made. From start to finish, everything was top-notch.

We love food and enjoy dining out, we been to couple Gordon Ramsay restraurants you get my drift etc. Let me tell you this this place is awesome. Took GF for birthday dinner, it lasted 3 hrs, even the car park closed as we were so long. The staff, food and atmosphere was really excellent and intimate. Think we ended up with 12 courses including Caviar for a birthday treat. Staff suggested wine which also was excellent. Note: You really have to concentrate and listen carefully when they are explaining the dishes, we had to also ask after we ate about the ingredients and preperation, but its all part of the dinner experience, the staff seem to be the chefs too as you see them preparing the food and they bring it out too. (I could be wrong, maybe somebody can confirm). You get the menu at the end as we ordered the Chefs Omakase dinner, which kind of makes sense. Personally I think would be better get the ingredients and descrption with each course so you can read it as you taste it, is my only comment for the restaurant if you read this. I suppose only downside is the cost, its easily the most expensive meal I had in Australia down my my choice and the caviar etc. but for me was worth it. It's not a place you would visit every week, but for very special occasions or if you want to push the boat out and impress somebody, definatley come here, just make sure you are very very hungry and got your credit card!

As close to perfection as I have ever experienced. Absolutely exceeds the Michelin starred restaurants I have experienced. Each course was a journey, each bite a delight. I absolutely cannot wait to return. Also the cocktails and offbeat pairing menus are just as good as the meal itself.

The Exhibition was just that! A demonstration of a skill; and a display of art, but for your mouth. Every bit from beginning to end was full of flavory pleasant. When introduce to oneโ€™s month, all the tongue could do was move to a well thought out dance of enjoyment. The pairing of wines were OUT OF THIS WORLD!! It was from start to finish, a live symphony of yummy heavenly inviting luscious food to die for. Thank you for taking us to an amazing well played concert and dance of food.
