23.01.26, 10.00am: Asked hotel staff to recommend good local cafes. Chose this one to take away. Very disappointed with the service attitude of one particular staff, compare to how he greeted and treated other customers. Felt discriminated. Coffee was OK. I hope the cafe owner will see this post one day.

I always drop into DOP Canberra for a coffee and a Portuguese tart when I have the chance to get into Civic on a weekday. DOP is a hidden gem and the coffee is excellent. The owner and staff are always friendly, knowledgeable and quick to serve you despite the city rush.

Genuinely friendly staff and outstanding coffee! Treat yourself to some of the seriously delish treats while you're passing by.

Very excited to try all the things on this new menu. Great tasting, traditional recipes at a super reasonable price. Order the sublime pine cold pressed fruit juice - refreshing! Coffee gets 5.5 stars out of 5 🫶 Don’t go anywhere else in the Canberra!

So. If you check my other reviews, you're probably going to figure out that one thing I really like...is coffee. Good coffee. And good food - but i really dig a good coffee. Theres a few good places in town to get great coffee, but this is one of my favourites. The staff are passionate about what they do. This stems to the super tasty breakfast food, the awesome sweet snacks, the flaversome lunches and of course, great coffee! Do yourself a favour, have some french toast and a coffee to start your day. You won't regret it! *edit: just adding a photo of the new cannolis Dop are selling. So tasty!!
