We were staying at TRYP Adelaide and headed out looking for coffee. Literally three shops up saw Dokeo which looked very trendy from outside. There are lots of areas to sit and contemplate. We both thoroughly enjoyed our first coffees of the day - LB and cappuccino. We were offered complimentary sparkling water. The barista was friendly and efficient. Can't wait to return for another shot.
Alex, who works behind the counter is a gracious, pleasant and generous host. He left me with a feeling, of safety and comfort. Cam, who also works behind the counter, is friendly and polite. He also looks like he knows how to make a great sandwich. At this stage, I haven't tried the food yet, although, if it's anything like the staff, service and atmosphere, I have faith, that the food is fantastic. Alex has recommended the rice balls, which sound delicious. I can't wait to try them. My experience has been so pleasant and hospitipal, that I have decided, to become a regular patron. Dokeo, is going to be seeing a lot more of me. The venue is minimal, relaxed, safe and welcoming. The Staff and the patrons are fine people, disregarding myself, because self praise is no recommendation. I love the place. Thanks for indulging me.
Lovely place! Came in from the hotel next door, lovely selection of wines and eats. Great service and nice vibe. We will come here for our morning coffee and pastries too!
Lovely spot for morning coffee or afternoon wine! Beautiful space, tasty coffee and yummy wine, very modest prices and wonderful staff. And kudos on the awesome playlist!
I miss the old Motorcycle Society but Dokeo has done well to replace it. Great friendly service, knowledgable barrister who was able to tell me about the background of where they source their coffee beans. I like how it's straight from the farm, ensuring full support goes back to the producers. Same applies for the wines they have, supporting the smaller wineries. Great atmosphere, plenty of room for seating throughout the establishment. Coffee was great. Definitely will be back and recommend others trying them out.
