We ordered three dishes: the handmade cream bacon pasta, the seafood risotto, and tiramisu. ๐ Cream Bacon Pasta The creamy flavor was very rich and smooth. If youโre a fan of creamy dishes, youโll definitely love this one. ๐ Seafood Risotto The seafood portion was generous and satisfying. The tomato-based sauce was slightly salty toward the end, but still acceptable overall. ๐ฐ Tiramisu Very delicious. If youโre looking to add a dessert after your meal, this is a great choice.
DโAngelo Restaurant is the best Italian food Iโve ever had. Every dish was full of flavour and clearly made with care and passion. The standout was the Pollo Paesana โ without exaggeration, the best pasta Iโve had in my life. Incredibly unique and unlike anything Iโve had before. Itโs incredibly family friendly, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer than planned. For footy fans there is Carlton memorabilia on display, which adds real character. The service. Absolutely outstanding โ attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. If youโre in Hobart and love authentic Italian, this place is an absolute must.
Da Angelo is the epitome of Italian cuisine in Hobart, and I couldnโt agree more! It is a popular spot, but I managed to snag a table just before 5:30 pm. The pasta was incredible, even better than what I had in Rome. The seafood is fresh & elevated the taste of pasta. The service is top-notch and incredibly efficient. If I visit again, Iโd love to try their risotto or pizza. Donโt miss out on this gem when youโre in Hobart โ make sure to reserve a table! I made it back for a second visit this trip! And had the seafood risotto which was incredible as well.
Great value, very generous serve for a city centre meal takeaway. Staff members are super friendly and cheerful. However the losanga I ordered was too salty. The noodles are okay but not as impressive as the ratings. Maybe I shall try the seafood dish instead of beef.
An absolute must-try Italian restaurant in Hobart! Every dish was a delightful surprise โ the pasta and pizza were incredibly authentic and delicious. I especially recommend the homemade pasta, which had amazing texture and flavor. The staff were exceptionally attentive and warm, making us feel right at home. The restaurant was almost full when we arrived, with lots of locals dining in, which says a lot about its popularity. The cozy atmosphere makes it perfect for dinner with friends or a date night. Make sure you book in advance โ itโs super popular and gets fully booked quickly! My friends and I were all very satisfied and truly enjoyed the experience. Weโll definitely come back next time weโre in Hobart! Highly recommended!
