Coyote Catering & Cafe were absolutely outstanding. They catered for around 100 people at our event and handled it beautifully. From the beginning they were warm, friendly, and highly professional, with clear communication and great attention to detail. Our community includes many people with access requirements, and the team approached this with genuine care, flexibility, and respect. They were accessible, non-judgemental, and always willing to adjust to individual needs, which made a huge difference to how safe and welcome people felt. On the night they arrived fully prepared, bringing tables and setting everything up smoothly. The two staff members were calm under pressure, efficient, and consistently professional, including serving our alcohol responsibly and keeping everything running on time. The pricing was excellent for the quality and level of service we received, and the food was fantastic. More than just caterers, they really added to the community vibe of the evening. They felt like part of the event rather than just a supplier. Rebus Theatre would defintely work with Coyote Catering & Cafe again and recommend them wholeheartedly.

My husband and I had lunch here on Friday and left disappointed. Coming from the Sth Coast this was our second visit and had been looking forward to lunch. I had the philly cheese steak baguette - the filling of the baguette was ok however was minimal, the chips were luke warm. Hubby had the special which was 10hr slow cooked ribs, they were ok but not memorable. We would have given feedback on the day however the only person on front of house was busy serving another customer with others waiting to order. In future we will head to Belconned to the Gluten Free Bakery Cafe.

Seems to have gone downhill over time. I had the beef quesadillas and it was completely flavourless. It was very quiet but they still brought out my partners lunch (pre-made toasted baguette) well before my meal. The quesadillas came with a salad that was just leaves, no dressing. The almond milk cap barely tasted of coffee. Much better GF cafes elsewhere in Canberra and unfortunately coyote cafe is no longer worth the trip out to Fyshwick. Edited to add: thanks to the owner for the response, I absolutely ate my entire meal and drank my coffee because I was hungry. It wasn’t disgusting, it was flavourless. My review stands - it’s not worth the trip. Way better GF cafes elsewhere in Canberra. GF should not mean flavourless, ESPECIALLY in a GF specific cafe.

Had lunch here today, the special GF fish tacos were amazing and they made me a fresh GF chocolate eclair while I ate. Highly recommend popping in to try the new specials

Coyote Cafe guys are so awesome. So hard to find a place 100% gluten free. Been 10 years since my last seafood basket. Love the food, staff and atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit anytime!!!!!!!
