I had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. The ambiance is really pleasant, making it a perfect spot for relaxation or a romantic date. Highly recommended

Coupette is discreetly tucked away and almost invisible from the street, but those curious enough to venture upstairs from the café below will be well rewarded. The menu is concise but thoughtful. We visited twice and ordered the same pairing both times: a white Chardonnay served at the perfect temperature and the steak tartare, an outstanding dish. Impeccably seasoned, with beautifully balanced acidity and a perfectly set egg yolk, it needed nothing added. Served with crisps and we added martini olives; definitely a very good match on our personal taste. We returned specifically for that tartare and added the crème brûlée at the end. Although it took a little longer than expected, our hostess immediately acknowledged it and topped up our Chardonnay glasses , a much appreciated gesture that showed genuine care. The dessert was excellent and worth the wait. We finished with two single espressos, which rounded things off perfectly. Service across both visits was warm and polished, with lovely hosts (a Chilean woman the first time, and a host from London the second) who made us feel genuinely welcome. One small note to refine would be the music, on our second visit it leaned more pop and felt slightly out of sync with the otherwise refined atmosphere. Aside from that, the experience was close to perfect. We’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.
