Food quality excellent, many options to try. Great taste and very good price. Staff are helpful and friendly. This place become my regular lunch spot now.
Great value and taste. They have various options for you to choose for your bento! I always grab lunch from here if I will pass by! Taiwanese food โฅ๏ธ๐ฏโฅ๏ธ
I really miss Taiwanese buffet-style meals. A friend told me thereโs one in Brisbane City, so we decided to check it out. Although itโs not like in Taiwan where you can pick a bit of everything and pay by weight, I was still happy to see all the familiar dishes. I got greedy and chose four dishes for $16.90 and it was super filling. I ordered my favourites: tomato and egg stir-fry and braised eggplant. So satisfying! While eating, I saw a lot of Chinese workers in construction uniforms coming in to eat and it made me feel that being able to enjoy a taste of home while living abroad is such a blessing.
Loved this Taiwanese takeaway place opened up in Post Office Square! Very rarely do you see a line as long as the line for this place in Brisbane, and it was backed up by a unique and delicious lunch offering. I ordered a large plate, which comes with one base (rice, fried rice, or noodle) and 3 mains. The ordering system was a bit chaotic, you get assigned a worker who will put your food in the bowl for you, and will keep asking what do you want. At the same time, you are standing in the queue, so you canโt see all of the options until you get to the front. I ordered the braised chicken and crispy chicken, which I could see at the start of the line. I peeked over to the other side and saw honey soy chicken which I also picked. They offered a good selection of spicy sauce and oyster sauce on the way out to top off your meal. I walked back to the office and was excited to try out my meal! The crispy chicken was delicious, but of course a bit greasy, which is to be expected. The braised chicken was quite good, the meat was so soft and slid off the bone. Finally, the honey soy chicken was the highlight for me! It tasted very similar to honey chicken, with a delicious soy based sauce added. Overall, I enjoyed my meal quite a lot. I will definitely be back here for lunch again sometime! Very excited to see interesting lunch spots like Chow Chow pop up as the city still is recovering from the effects of COVID lockdowns.
I recently discovered this Taiwanese-inspired takeaway place at the food court of Post Office Square & itโs been a culinary revelation! Generous portions, wide range of meats and vegetables - all tasty and on point! The service is prompt and friendly. Whether youโre a seasoned foodie or just exploring Taiwanese cuisine, this takeaway is a must-try - itโs also very reasonably priced ($17 for the largest!). The flavours are authentic & delicious, making it a great option for anyone looking for a satisfying meal in the city! Since discovering it, Iโve returned 3 times in a week! Highly recommended!
