At a recent birthday dinner for 10 with the set menu the properly Italian pizzas were delicious & a black forest cake made to order by Ilenia was fabulous - as light as a feather & also delicious. Service was attentive, the decor & atmosphere lovely. I'd definitely go there again & highly recommend it. Perfect for a fun night out.
A cute little shop! But I have to say was the most flavourless pizza we have ever had. The dough was great! Crusty and delicious! But the vegan options were bland as they come. I noticed alot of the pizza options had potato..... a potato has to be the most flavourless vegetable in the game so why put it on a pizza? And no vegan cheese at all? I think having a vegan option is needed in this day and age but not to have vegan cheese on a simple pizza isnt acceptable. And found the service very slow considering we were the only other couple dining in. Anyway maybe the meat options have more flavour to them but if you are looking for a pizza I'd suggest trying a different joint. 5 stars for trying different ambitious pizza combos but 2 stars for the final product. Also I've been a chef for 20 years so I kinda know what I am talking about.
Thank you to the lovely staff today! They had a function going on but still managed to help us with takeaway. So glad we listened to the recommendations and got the Parmigiana! Weโre not vegetarians, but we really enjoyed the pizza, and the tiramisu was absolutely delightful. Definitely coming back again!
I recently tried out this Italian restaurant my Italian colleague recommended, and it was pretty good, though it didn't quite live up to the hype. The Burrata and Prosciutto were greatโfresh and tasty. The pizzas were solid, but I made the mistake of getting two that tasted pretty similar despite the different toppings. The mushrooms made one of the pizzas a bit soggy, but fortunately, it was still delicious. The pasta was good, too. Overall, Iโd give it a 4 out of 5. Worth a visit if youโre in the mood for Italian, but maybe mix up the pizza choices!
Another must-try for authentic Italian in Adelaide. The atmosphere inside Blue Velvet was very friendly and rustic. Highlight menu items are any of their fresh woodfire pizzas, and their lovingly prepared desserts.
