Amazing food with authentic Indian taste. This is my 3rd visit and it never disappoints! Loved the new menu addition — the bun butter jam is just ❤️. The filter coffee is amazing too. Highly recommend Big Fella Biriyani!

I’m not saying this just because he’s my brother—anyone who knows the hard work and challenges he has overcome feels the same. The consistency in the flavours speaks volumes about the passion and attention to detail. We’re all proud of you, Vicky bro. You’re doing an amazing job - seeing and hearing many appreciations you receive from the community is inspiring. Running the entire business on your own and personally creating every dish on the menu is no small feat. I’d drive from Sydney to Canberra any day just to treat my taste buds to my personal favourites from the BFB menu - Sambhar Vadai, Kothu Parotta, Mutton Chukka, Seeraga Samba Biryani, Wedding style Chicken Briyani, and Chicken Pepper Fry. I can’t wait to see you turn this dream into a full-fledged restaurant. And please start the Sunday Special Breakfast soon—we’re all waiting!

One of the best places to have our South Indian Parotta. They have a wonderful team taking care of the service with personalized care. During my second visit, they remembered my name and wrote a it in my take away bag which I noticed only after reaching home. My best take is Parotta+ Salna & Biriyani. Will have more items and review it.

Namma ooru style biriyani - the best in Canberra and I would say even in Australia. This is one of those spots that instantly makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. The people who runs this food truck are warm and friendly, and you can tell that they are passionate about serving Tamil food in Canberra (the authentic food flavours) Whether you’re after comfort food or something a bit more indulgent, Big Fella Briyani never disappoints. Definitely worth visiting again and again!

We stumbled upon Big Fella Briyani during our trip to Canberra, and as tourists craving South Indian flavours, this food truck was an absolute delight! The taste instantly transported us back to cities like Madurai and Ambur — truly authentic and comforting. Their Seeraga Samba Briyani was perfect for the rainy day — fragrant, flavourful, and cooked to perfection. I especially loved the Kothu Egg Parotta — the salna was spot on and tasted just like the ones back home in Tamil Nadu. What made the experience even better was the warm and friendly service. The family running the truck welcomed us with genuine hospitality and even gave us great recommendations on places to visit around Canberra. Highly recommended if you're in town and craving real South Indian/Tamil food flavours.
