The starters were fantastic, especially the ceviche and crab, which felt creative and well executed. Unfortunately, the mains were underwhelmingโฆfine, but nothing memorable. The atmosphere didnโt stand out, though Iโd recommend stopping by for a few starters at lunch
The sip and graze lunch menu had surprisingly a decent amount of food. You also get a spritz as part of the meal. The lamb ribs were a highlight. Sweet, salty and juicy meat on the bone ๐๐ผ Service was a bit slow after being provided the menu. However, after we ordered the food came out at a consistent pace.
First time here and very pleased overall. Food was just spot on, and Cesar was so lovely - provided great service! We chose the set menu - Barraโs fiesta and every single plate was delicious. Highlight being the Wagyu flank. Will definitely be back!
Absolutely love this restaurant! It stole my heart the very first time my partner took me here for a date night, our first in Melbourne together. As a Latina, finding a place that instantly feels welcoming is rare, but this little gem nailed it. The food was delicious and beautifully served, the service was spot-on, and the staff were so genuinely lovely that I felt right at home. Canโt wait to come back!
Got the La Calle Banquet and added fried cassava bread and sweet plantain. My favourite from highest wow factor to lowest- 1. Fried cassava bread 2. Tostadas 3. Country style chicken 4. Poached banana prawn 5. Milk caramel custard 6. Spanner crab arepa 7. Market fish and octopus ceviche (too much citrus for me) Loved the staff and service but because the place is a bit small, it can get loud when busy and you might be able to hear the couple sitting next to you having an argument. But I still had a good night with my company!
