Save the airfare!! Avoid the jet lag! If you want the authentic Spanish experience, just go straight to Bar Lucia. As good as anywhere I’ve enjoyed a great meal in fabulous atmospheric surroundings in Spain. Plus, really great staff who are uniformly knowledgeable and attentive. I took my daughter there for one of our regular DDDs (Daddy Daughter Dinners). We had the best time

This is the most awesome Spanish restaurant in Potts point. The terrace is just stunning! Catherine was our waitress and she served up everything with a smile! We started with the crostini one with white anchovies and the other foie gras and they were both incredible. Obviously we tried their paella. We had the seafood original one and it was cooked perfectly couple with superb Spanish white wine. The cheesecake is the best thing I have ever tasted. In fact so good I didn’t even get a picture of it but I couldn’t stop eating! There is a row of amazing little places to eat next door to each other places under some lovely tress. Next is the Mediterranean one next door. A must if you like Spanish and sit outside.

Booked for a birthday. First time trying out the place, food was exceptional and service was so warm and welcoming in spite of how busy it was! Thank you to Christina who was very attentive! Would absolutely recommend. Had the scallops, tuna tartare, garlic prawns, octopus, steak, cauliflower, potatos, basque cheesecake for 2 + tempranillo. So yummy!

Loved Bar Lucia – such a cosy spot with a great vibe. The food was delicious, especially the paella which was packed with richness and nice charred flavour. The jamón croquettes were perfectly crisp and creamy, and the anchovies were simple but so tasty. Can’t wait to go back!

Had the Bottomless Lunch here on Saturday. The fit out of the venue is amazing. Food was delicious. Croquettes were an absolute stand out. The right amount of food too. The woman serving us was just so lovely and also attentive with drinks and well paced food. Staff can make or break a place IMO. Will definitely be back!
