1 of the very few places that provide the best woodfire pizza. Honestly my favourite place of traditional pizza, it tastes so fresh, I don't feel crap after eating their pizza, its just too good! It ain't greasy or oily, just so juicy and generously made. The price is worth it, within a simple shop that doesn't have 1000 things going, just the main thing which is making beautiful bloody pizza!
The pizza here is delizioso! Was quite a surprise how good it was, just like in Italy! ๐ฎ๐น Been meaning to try this new Italian place in Alexandria and feel lucky to have another great local food joint in the neighborhood. Well done A Slice Of Italy, weโll be back to try more! ๐
for me, the true test of a great pizza spot is their margherita. if they can get that simple classic right, you know youโre in for something special.. And let me tell you: the margherita here is SO good.the flavors are fresh, the crust is perfect, and itโs clear they care about quality ingredients. I also tried the calzone, and it absolutely SLAPS packed with flavor and baked to perfection. even as someone who doesnโt usually gravitate toward pizza, I was genuinely impressed.
Iโm a no-bs kind of guy when it comes to pizza, and A Slice of Italy seriously delivers. Quality, freshness, and flavour all on point. The dough is outstanding. Light, with a satisfying bite that holds up beautifully. Every topping is fresh, thoughtfully chosen, and balanced just right. You can tell the pizzaiolo knows what heโs doing โ every slice is a perfect mouthful. We tried the focaccia, Parma, and Calabrese: all standouts. Canโt wait to come back and work my way through the rest of the menu.
New local that opened up about a month ago, saw the reviews and photos and had to try it! The food and the service was fantastic! Pizzas came out super fast and piping hot, really nice crust and generous size and toppings. We got the diavola and.the rustics, both were delicious (diavola won for me!). Also ended up getting the homemade tiramisu and they brought out this massive slab! Really creamy and moist, ladyfingers were properly soaked in coffee to get that texture, and the balance of all the components together was excellent. The staff were really attentive and checked in with us throughout, which was really sweet, and were so genuine and jovial throughout. Fantastic new local, will definitely be back! P.S. you can also order their pizzas from Blackwattle across the road - reckon its a brilliant partnership of two local spots!
